At the invitation of the current Chairperson of the South East Asia National Human Rights Institutions Forum (SEANF), Chairperson of the National Commission on Human Rights of Indonesia (KOMNAS HAM), Chairman U Win Mra and Member U Nyunt Swe of the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission attended the 11th Annual Meeting of SEANF, held in Bali, Indonesia from 6 to 7 November 2014.
The meeting discussed the SEANF’s thematic matters including the position of Strategic Plan of SEANF – 2012-2016, establishment of Permanent Secretariat of SEANF, update on the engagement between SEANF and AICHR, SEANF’s position on the two UN Resolutions on Business and Human Rights and the Rights of Older Persons.
